Earlier this month Gregory K. posted a note about a form of poetry he’s playing with, based on the famous Fibonacci sequence (1-1-2-3-5-8 etc.) Fibs, as he’s dubbed the form, are poems which contain syllables in that sequence. For example:
One
Small,
Precise,
Poetic,
Spiraling mixture:
Math plus poetry yields the Fib.
The response has been amazing. Be sure not only to read the ones posted on the page above, but also on this page.

Oh, crap.
This is bad.
We’re so alone here.
I guess it could be worse. Could rain.
And this one, which is fabulous:

5 6 7 8
9 10 11 12 13
So I guess I’ll have to get in on the act. Fore!

Oh shit.
Where’d that go?
It’s probably lost.
Better play a provisional.
Sorry. I’m going to a rules seminar tomorrow. And we all know what Fibbers golfers are. <groan>
You have WAY to much time on your hand.
Oh and BTW, MENSA called, they need their “whacky poem writing book” back by 5:00 pm.
