Am I the only one who thinks there are two armies of lawyers on call for the morning after the election? I imagine that both campaigns and parties are ready to challenge any local, county or state result that is the least bit close, or any result from an area whose voter rolls might be the least bit suspect. I hope I’m wrong, but I’m prepared for another messy end to what is turning into a particularly acrimonious race.
And now look: Kerry campaign deploys army of lawyers in Florida and Legal Battle for Presidency Underway and Parties to Post Lawyers at Polls.
God save the Republic.
