“We need to turn back some of the creeping, un-Pennsylvanian and sometimes un-American traits that are coming into some of our politics.”

    – Teresa Heinz Kerry, at a reception for Pennsylvania delegates to the Democratic National Convention in Boston last night.

“I didn’t say that…You said something I didn’t say. Now shove it.”

    – Teresa Heinz Kerry to a reporter moments later when questioned about her “un-American” comment.

[Later] It’s loads of fun watching the generally pro-Kerry media report this. They don’t know how to bash the daylights out of her for dissing one of their own without risking the appearance of being anti-Kerry. Tee hee. Can you say “twist in the wind?”
