Flarion has signed a deal with Vodafone KK to trial Flarion’s OFDM broadband data service in metropolitan Tokyo. Nextel has been trialling the system in North Carolina, and Vodafone has already rolled out CDMA 1XRTT on its network. The trial is scheduled to begin by mid year.
Several interesting signs of looming trouble for Hutch have appeared in the last couple of days.
