Merrill Lynch became the fourth analyst to raise its share price outlook for RIM since the first of the year, joining Paradigm, Canaccord and Orion. The contrarian is JP Morgan who last week cut its recommendation to neutral. Merrill now thinks RIM shares could reach US$105.
RCR is reporting that Cingular is cutting an unspecified number of jobs in its Mobitex division. The company told reporter Mike Dano that the cuts will come through attrition or transfers rather than layoffs.
